WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR DENTAL VISIT
Your first dental appointment with Park Dental Care starts with an introduction of the dental technician and doctor who will be working with you. A full dental examination,including X-rays if necessary, will be provided. We will discuss your/your child's overall oral health and report on tooth decay, periodontal disease, and potential oral problems in the future, including risks for oral cancer and the possible need for restorative or cosmetic dental procedures.
If there is enough time, the doctor may perform a thorough teeth cleaning; if not, you will be scheduled for a return visit for that purpose or to work out a treatment plan for other dental needs. The first visit takes between 45-60 minutes. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
DENTAL EMERGENCIES
At Park Dental Care we understand that not all of your family's dental needs can be accommodated with a future appointment. Unfortunate events stand at the horizon waiting to strike: a fall off the bed or a bicycle wreck can wreak havoc on the mouth and need to be treated immediately. When you need emergency dental treatment, we offer affordable, same-day dentistry so you can save your smile for the future.
INSURANCE AND PAYMENT PLANS
Park Dental Care accepts most insurance plans; if you have any doubt, give us a call and confirm that your plan is accepted. We have learned through experience that there is little difference between payments for in-network or out-of-network providers.
If your insurance isn't covered, or if you have a dental procedure done that isn't covered by your insurance, we do offer financial options to pay over time. Our flexible, finance-friendly payment plan is interest-free, so you'll never pay more than the treatment is worth. We understand that everyone has occasional financial difficulties. Feel free to share any financial concerns with us so that we can work with you to maintain your family's oral health.
